Welsh man, Simon Dale built this low impact home by himself, along with his father-in-law, and now he lives there with his wife and two little sons. Truly a magical place to live and grow up! A real treat for the imagination!
The home was built in 4 months. Dale estimated 1000-1500 man hours and £3000. Asked why he began the project, Dale said:

I recently saw Natalie Portman at a talk in NYC. Not only is she an accomplished actors and vegan, but she has recently featured on the Foundation for International Community Assistance’s (FINCA) website to talk about the earthquake in Haiti.
Portman is an Ambassador of Hope for the organization, which provides financial services to the world’s lowest-income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs, build assets and improve their standard of living. On the site, she said:
For those of you who caught the 2010 Golden Globe Awards last night, you saw actor George Clooney who used the opportunity to reveal some of the massive names that will be performing at his Haiti fund-raising concert, which takes place on January 22nd.
Clooney has managed to recruit some big names in music such as Sting, U2’s Bono, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, for his Haiti benefit gig. His co-host will be none other than Haiti-born singer Wyclef Jean.
